COVID-19 Procedures

We have made changes to our policies due to COVID-19. Please familiarize yourself with the procedures below before coming to class! These policies are subject to change as NYS and CDC guidelines are updated.

Classes are offered virtually as well as in-person in a hybrid format to ensure that students who are not feeling well or who need to quarantine can still participate. Please see details below.

IN PERSON CLASS PROCEDURES:

Arrival

Arrive in a mask if you are not yet vaccinated (please keep your mask on at all times during class and while exiting after class). Per NYS regulations, buffs, gaiters and bandanas are not acceptable face coverings. Your mask must cover both your nose and mouth. As of 5/19, if you are vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask while taking class.
Use the hand sanitizing station provided
Belongings can be placed on the folding chairs - please do not hang up purses and coats on the hooks at this time

During Class

Please stay at least 6 feet apart from your fellow students
We will not be using shared props at this time

During this time, in-person make up classes are not available as we are trying to limit the amount of students who come in contact with each other by not mixing classes. If you need to make up a class, please email or text Faaria with the date that you'd like to make up class and we will send you the Zoom link for that day.

VIRTUAL OPTION

All of our classes are now offered online on Zoom as well as in-person. If you feel more comfortable joining us from home, please let us know so that we can send you the Zoom link for your class session. If you are not feeling well, please stay home! We will send you the Zoom link for class and we are also allowing virtual make ups if you are not feeling well enough to dance. The safety of our dance community is important to us.

To participate virtually under any circumstance, please email Faaria at faaria@oasisdancecenter.com or text her at 716-698-0288 at least two hours prior to your scheduled class or your desired make up class to request the Zoom meeting information. Thank you!
