Belly Dancing is a passion; once you start, you cannot stop. You get to learn new fun techniques each class and learn how to take movements and turn them into a killer routine. I enjoy creating unique solos that I can call my own. I LOVE performing because you get to show off what you have learned. I like picking out the costumes because they are like no other dance costumes! They are bedazzled out and you can be covered from head to toe in big, flashy, sparkly jewelry! I have taken a lot of other dance classes in the past but by far belly dancing is my favorite.
Faaria makes belly dancing exciting and fun to learn. Faaria also explains the movements very well and lets you learn at your own pace. I look forward going to the studio every week to dance and to see all of my belly dancing friends. The decorations in the studio make you want to start belly dancing as soon as you walk in. I enjoy learning about the Middle Eastern culture, especially the music. Belly dancing is a big part of my life. I got asked to be in Performance Group and was ecstatic; I cannot wait for what is to come!
